Linguas OS - Linux for Translators.
Linguas OS is a GNU/Linux operating system that includes the tools we use everyday at the Baldwin Linguas offices. Linguas OS is stable, secure, and, above all, is free.
Open Office - a free/open source office suite with tools for text, spreadsheets, html editing, drawing, database front end, presentations, etc. Open office does everything other office suites do, and more, and it is FREE. It runs on Windows, Linux or Mac. It is included in Linguas OS.
Omega T - Free/open source CAT/Translation Memory program. Runs on Windows, Mac or Linux (included in Linguas OS). Uses standard .tmx files for translation memory (compatible with Wordfast and Trados). Requires the use of Open Office for conversion of some file formats.

Getting paid:
We ONLY pay via paypal or moneybookers. We also strive to pay as soon as possible, often with 48 hours of delivery, but, please, understand, we do not guarantee payment before 60 days, ever.
